Mismo Sitio, Distinto Lugar (Same Site, Distinct Place) is an invitation to the epicenter of Vetusta Morla to witness in the first person a reaffirmation of its essence, ironically founded on an agitated metamorphosis. The album reflects in a fragmented way a transformation process, being at the same time the process itself, its story and the result of it. Its ten songs can be read as a re-foundation manual that emanates from the band’s need to continue interpreting its reality through music, keeping intact its stamp of undeniable honesty. With that reality and the observer himself in permanent change, it is necessary to reinvent the tools with which it is narrated to continue finding truth and genuine emotion. Necessary like jumping from a burning ship, even if it is to swim in unknown waters. That exciting and necessary search is the substance of this fourth studio album by Vetusta Morla.
